Currently, one of my main areas of work is Higher Education. I work at the Center for Higher Education of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg. The main focus of my work is to develop a uniform continuing education program for university teachers at all levels. My publications in this field deal with the coaching of university members and the fundamentals of Higher Education.
In the course of my studies of supervision at the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt am Main I dealt intensively with supervision in the field of hospice and palliative care (palliative medicine). I wrote my final thesis about this topic.
Especially in the years 2000 to 2010, my focus was on clinical ethics consulting, its practice and theoretical foundation. During these years I have written several articles on this. My approach is particularly oriented towards the so-called discourse ethics of Jürgen Habermas. During these years I also wrote the entries on my blog on ethics consulting. I hope that I will find time to continue this blog.
